Samsung sent out media invites for the Galaxy Note 7 Unpacked event. The events set for August 2nd in New York where they’ll announce the follow-up to the Galaxy Note 5. We’ve seen leaked images of the Note 7 and know what new gimmicky features that’ll Samsung pack into the device.
While we won’t see official specs we have a fairly good idea of what the specs will look like:
- 5.7-inch QHD display
- 12-megapixel dual-pixel camera (OIS, PDAF)
- 3,700mAh battery
- 64GB and 128GB storage options; microSD support
- IP68 rating
We also know the Note 7 will have an iris scanner to unlock the phone instead of using a fingerprint to unlock the phone. We’ll keep an eye, wink, on what Samsung does at the Unpacked event. It’s also reported the Note will go on sale the next day, which means you have two weeks to save for the newest Note device.
