Google didn’t announce the new name of Android N at Google I/O today but don’t fret. Google wants you to name Android N, as long as it’s a tasty idea and starts with the letter ‘n’.
Google’s traditionally named their Android versions after Deserts, and this year likely won’t be different. The rumor was Android Nutella, but it looks like Google couldn’t decide and is letting their fans help decide. I’m a little disappointed because I was hoping to put the name guess to bed.
Don’t bother thinking of a crazy name. Google still will pick the final name and there isn’t an open poll showing the winners or even the contenders. The company knows what could go wrong if they let the internet decide.
