Streaming services cost as much as cable thanks to Disney
When Netflix
Disney will pull their movies and TV shows from Netflix in 2019, signaling a shift in the industry and for the company. Disney currently has films like Sing
Streaming services like PlayStation Vue have a decent selection of sports including ESPN, ESPN 2, Fox Sports and others. Disney’s new service will likely include some sports content. Your monthly streaming bill is starting to add up
I am already subscribed to Hulu, Netflix, YouTube Red, Amazon Prime, and want to add in Dinsey’s new streaming service in 2019. Each service cost around $10 a month, adding up to $50 or $60 a month, plus the internet which is $90 for me. That’s a total of $140 on the low end or $150 on the higher end. That’s as much as a cable bill each month. The point of these streaming services or skinny bundles was to keep cost low. We had a goal of paying for a few services and get all the content we want on demand. Now the streaming channels are becoming unbundled, and the prices are adding up. If you add in HBO, Show Time, CBS All Access, and other channels you could pay upwards of $200 a month! That’s as much as a premium cable plan.
Let me know what you think! Are you looking forward to a Disney only streaming service?
