Samsung unveils the Galaxy S8 and S8+ (the leaks confirm everything)

Samsung finally announced the Galaxy S8 and S8+, even though we knew everything about the phone from the leaks. The phone is a beast with a beautiful edge to edge, “Infinity” display.  Samsung also took a page from Apple’s book and released the S8+ version, which is just the S8 but larger. Overall, Samsung hit it out of the park with their phones. They’ll dominate the market for Android phones, but they’ll have stiff competition when Apple releases the iPhone 8 this fall.

The Galaxy S8 is around $750, and the S8+ is around $850 depending on which installment plan you choose from AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, or Sprint. It’s not as expensive as many analysts and tech journalist were expecting. A similar price to the iPhone and Pixel means customers will have a hard time choosing between the phones.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are beautiful and powerful phones

Both phones are prepared to take over the smartphone market, even though hype around this update isn’t as loud as other upgrades. A lot of that has to do with all the leaks showing the phone from every angle and even showed someone using the phone turned on. It was one of the most leaked gadgets in recent history, with Evan Blass breaking a lot of the news.
