The iPhone is a popular gaming platform for many because they always have the device on them. Not only that! There’re hundreds of thousands of games on the App Store, with games being one of the most popular app categories available.
Nintendo is bringing their favorite game Mario to the iPhone as a paid app. The app called Super Mario Run will be available to download before this holiday season.
We first experience a Nintendo property on the iPhone with Pokemon Go, but now they see their games, and older games can make the jump to mobile starting with the iPhone. This could be the biggest announcement from Apple in years, and could revive the App Store declining sales and importance.
