Pokemon is laying out permanent bans to players who cheat

The creators of Pokémon Go, Niantic Labs, recently issued an update to their terms of service page regarding cheaters, and those who don’t play fair. Look around and you can find all kinds of Youtube tutorials, third party apps, and jailbreak tweaks to help you catch ’em all. It’s not a surprise as most video games have tutorial guides and hacks on how to advance in the game at a faster rate.

With Pokémon Go using GPS and monitoring your location, it could just mean you have to play fair. We aren’t quite sure how Niantic Labs is going to combat this, but they did release that any cheating “includes, but is not limited to: falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third-party software”.

If you’re the type of person who isn’t playing Pokémon Go in a fair style, we suggest you call it quits and play fair – Unless you want to stop playing the game altogether!

What do you think about this banning system? Have you experienced any emulators/hacks to catch ’em all? Let us know in the comments below!
