How to watch WWDC live

A redesigned iTunes, Siri on Mac, new Macbook’s and maybe one more thing will be announced at WWDC 2016. Apple’s big developer conference kicks off today with a lot of people waiting for updates to the key software they use.

How do you watch Apple’s developer conference live? Here’s everything you need to know in order to live stream WWDC on your Apple TV or other Apple device.

Devices: Live streaming uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation).

When: Apple’s event kicks off at 10 am PDT, 12 pm CST, 1 pm EST, with the keynote.
