Beme is a unfiltered way to share your life

Casey Niestat is a prolific YouTuber, who’s leveraging his social influence to build his iPhone and Android app. The app, Beme, is a simple video sharing platform which takes a different approach to sharing. To share, you cover the sensor on the front of the phone – next to the selfie camera – by holding it against your chest or even forehead. As your covering the sensor, the rear camera is recording your surrounds to share instantly when you take the phone away from you.

The app is intuitive, simple, and easy to use. The videos you’re sharing are unedited and raw view on your life. There are millions of users on the platform, with communities popping up daily. There are cat Beme’s, skating Beme’s, and many more people doing interesting things.

I’ve become hooked on Beme, and I try to post as often as possible. It’s easy to post and doesn’t mean I have to stop what I’m doing. I can share what my daughter is doing without having to edit a video, preview it before I share it, or even add a caption. It’s shared as soon as I’m done filming the short clip.

Sam from Mashable makes amazing videos and uses Beme. He described why he uses Beme on a fairly often basis.

Tell us in the comments below what you think about Beme, and add me on the social network – leonhitchens.
