Amazon CEO confirms 8th-generation Kindle’s
Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bazo’s confirmed 8th-generation Kindle e-readers are coming next week.
The company’s current flagship model is the $199 Kindle Voyage, followed by the more budget-friendly $119 Paperwhite and the $99 basic Kindle model. If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber – which who isn’t? – you can grab the Kindle’s for $30 to $50 off retail.
The Kindle devices haven’t seen a refresh in recent years. The company has put a lot of effort into the Fire tablets which have moved from one or two to a handful of tablets aimed towards kids, high performance, to the lowest tier market.
We’ll hopefully get a major refresh for the Kindle devices to add modern features and make them cheaper. We’ll keep you posted with all the news for book lovers!
