As announced by The New York Times and the official Citizen Four documentary fan page, Edward Snowden will be co-hosting a live-streaming event featured by The New York Times.
The event, which will take place February 12th at 6:45 – 7:45 Eastern Standard Time, will also include an interview with documentarian Laura Poitras and journalist Glenn Greenwald.
The documentary, Citizen Four, was filmed before and during the revelations of Edward Snowden’s NSA leaks and exposes the intricacies involved in Edward Snowden’s contact with Poitras and Glenn Greenwald in Hong Kong. It delves into the roadblocks that came before the mainstream reporting of the leak and is currently considered the front-runner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary.
