Samsung announced new devices in Berlin that include the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Edge, and the Gear VR. The new Galaxy Note is a power horse that continues to push the ability to pack everything into such a small frame. Samsung is also pushing the envelope with the new Galaxy Edge which has a curved screened. The edge is packed with quick links to apps, which will be quicker than going through the default Android launcher.
The VR headset is a high quality screen in the headset that allows you to be immersed in a 3D world. First of all it only works with the Note 4. That means you need the latest, greatest phablet to run it. Samsung has yet to announce pricing, but I would expect at least $299. If the Note 4 costs $199, you’re spending almost $500. It’s expected to ship this fall.
The spec sheet for the Galaxy Note is on the right and on the left its the Galaxy Edge.
