Yahoo Acquires Aviate
The number is 31 now. Yahoo has now acquired Aviate which is a context-aware Android home screen. Mayer announced at a CES that it was purchasing the company for an undisclosed amount. Why build something when you can just buy has becomes Yahoo’s model. The web gaint wants to use the simple and ever changing home screen as a central part of its Android software in 2104. What this means is still unclear, but Yahoo may want to push their new sites like Yahoo Tech.
