Skype’s Twitter & Blog Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army

The year does not look to be starting off well for Microsoft when Skype’s Twitter, Facebook, and blog were hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army. The group normally targets high profile companies or governments to publish pro-Syrian government messages. However, the Skype hack was a pushing privacy issues possibly over the NSA recent spying.

Skype is under fire for having ties to the NSA, which the company allowed the NSA to openly access Skype communications to be intercepted by the government organization. Microsoft has stopped the intruders access currently, and trying to close the hole that they’ve got access to the accounts in the first place.
