YouTube Comes to Roku

Roku boxes have been growing with apps over the years, but YouTube has always been lacking from the platform. Now Roku has finally gotten the YouTube app on the system. The Roku is arguably the best streaming boxes, one because of the mass amount of apps. Then second because of the low prices of the streaming allows a lot of people get their hands on the Roku.

Roku announced today that the channel has now officially been added, but it only works on the Roku 3 players in U.S. Canada, U.K. and the Republic of Ireland. Other Ruko models will receive the app but no words on when the other models will get the app. If you use the same WI-FI you can stream videos from your phone to your Roku device.

We are still wondering why the app took so long to reach the Roku devices, but we are so glad that it has. Will you be getting a Roku 3 to get the YouTube app, or do you already have a Roku 3? Tell us in the comments below.
