Nexus 5 Launch October 31st
After yesterday’s fail prediction of Google hosting an event with the Nexus 5 being released. There are many doubting that anyone will get the next press event right, or if there is going to be a new Nexus anytime soon. All the rumors, FCC filings, and leaked pictures show a device that would fit the bill for a Nexus 5. A Canadian site Mobile Syrup, claims Google will release the Nexus 5 October 31st citing an anonymous source.
The Nexus 5 is rumored to sport a 5 inch 1080p screen, 2GB of RAM, a quad-core snapdragon 800 processor, 8 MP camera, NFC, and built in wireless charging. The Nexus 5 will come first in black, the white versions that have leaked were fake so we don’t think there will be a white anytime soon. The phone is supposed to cost $349, a little more than the Nexus 4.
The industry has gotten the first event wrong, and even glazed over the fact that they got it wrong. Google has failed to comment on emails asking what yesterday’s event was for.
