Samsung Tab 2 10.1 First Look

The big 10.1 inch screen, Dual Core processor, Android 4.0 makes the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. This is one of Samsung tries at hitting a lower end model of the Android tablet market. This tablet is offered on many networks with 4G capability, which makes the price and the quality you get from the hardware a great price point.

The display is the same as the Note, with 1280×800 pixels making your videos, pictures, and web pages look crystal clear. It’s a very good-looking screen, and it’s very sensitivitie, responding quickly and accurately to brushes and presses.

Of course, you don’t get the Note’s stylus and all those handy little drawing and note-taking extras, which allow you to write on web pages, or the Note 2’s split screen functionality.

The tablet is available in 16GB or 32GB versions, but  you can add up to 64GB via microSD card. The main camera only goes up to 3 megapixels and has no flash, but there is autofocus and takes okay pictures if you are in good light. It can record 720p HD video at 30fps and 1.9-megapixel camera on the front for video calls.

The large 7,000mAh battery allows for even the power user to get a full day of use without the battery dying on you. I have gotten over 24 hours of use and I have been using the device for watching Youtube videos, surfing the web, and also playing video games such as Grand Theft Auto:Vice City.

Specifications

It’s not the best tablet from Samsung but for the price of the tablet and also the ability for 3G or 4G capability. I will have a more in depth review of the device with any issues that arise, true battery life from day to day life, and also what cool features or Easter eggs I find.  If you also have this tablet please leave a comment with your problems or why you really love that tablet.
