Christmas is over, Hanukkah is starting, and Kwanzaa is beginning today. The holiday brings families together, but it also means new phones, gadgets, and wearables for many. While many assumptions of what everyone received for the holidays is anecdotal, there are a few places to look for more robust data. The iTunes trending charts will show what apps move up during the holiday season.
What it looks like is Fitbit, and the Amazon Echo were some of the most gifted gadgets. Somewhat surprising is VR apps are trending on the iOS store. In the Google Play store Amazon Alexa is trending and Fitbit, but there isn’t any sign of VR making a splash this year.
