6 years into Barack Obama’s Presidency he’s finally on Twitter. He’s in control over the account, and we can only imagine the staffers that comb over his tweets before they are sent. The @POTUS is one that will stay with the White House, meaning the next president will get to take control when they are in office.
The account will be a push from the white house to connect with a generation that’s always connected and always wanting to know more. The account already has millions of followers, and millions of people tweeting jokes, questions, and comments to the President. He will have to weather the good and the bad of Twitter especially when he makes decisions the public doesn’t agree with.
