Microsoft Edge is the replacement for Internet Explorer

Microsoft has yet to find a purpose for its pen beyond circling everything and anything, but its named Project Spartan publicly. Microsoft Edge is going become the new internet browser of Windows 10 and future builds.During the BUILD conference, Joe Belfiore talked about why the company went with that name, saying it’s on the “cutting edge” of the Internet. Edge is a faster, advance, and newer browser that will hopefully work better then Internet Explore.

Microsoft is cool again and its trying hard to re-brand the products and services that have the most bad press around it. Edge will get support to search with Cortana and a minimal design that hopefully won’t distract from the web. If you want to check out the Technical Preview of Windows 10 to take an early version of Project Spartan.

Tell us what you think about the name Microsoft choose for its new browser in the comments below!
