Instagram is making it easier to not only follow celebrities, friends, and family, but also easier to customize your photos in more unique ways. The new editing tools include fade and color that’s included in the adjustment menu and allows for more color customization.
The fade tool softens all the colors “to bring a quiet tone,” Instagram says. Color adds different tints to the image which include yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan and green are the colors now available. The update is Instagram keeping users within their app and not using others like VSCOCam. It’s making the filters and images on the site look more professional and higher quality.
On top of the new editing features Instagram added the ability to subscribe to users post from users you follow. It’s similar to how Facebook and Twitter allow you to get push notifications from users you follow when they post new updates.
