Google may control your personal lives, but your work phone, email, and other info ins’t always separated from your personal. Nor is your work info as secure as you or your business would like it to be. The enterprise market is the last frontier that Apple or anyone has managed to claim as theirs.
“We’re helping businesses bring more devices to work by securing, managing and innovating on the Android platform,” said Rajen Sheth, Google’s director of product management, Android and Chrome for Work.
Android for work will live along side Google apps, but the Android for work will allow business to better manage multiple devices at one time. The program will also ensure that all work data is separate from your personal accounts and information.
If Google can make the data secure and the phone calls, messages, and transfer of data secure it could be a huge win for Google. More business and high profile men and women ranging from the President of the United States to Opera would want to use these secure phones.
