YouTube Stars will interview Obama after the State of the Union

Barack Obama wants to continue to appeal to the younger millenniums, and get them into politics even more. Following the Presidents annual State of the Union Bethany Mota, GloZell and Hank Green will sit down with the president at the White House on Jan. 22.

While the stars won’t be writing the questions themselves, but instead they will be taking #YouTubeAsksObama. The stars will pick questions that reflect their respective fandom.

The State of the Union will also be broadcasted live on YouTube on Jan. 20. This may be Obama’s way to shake up the stale and predictable nature of American politics, but many people are saying Obama is taking focus away from more important topics like cybersecurity, the economy, or other world issues.

Tell us what you think about these Youtube stars interviewing Obama after the State of the Union in the comments below.
