Apple Pulls iOS 8.0.1 Update After Major Errors

Less than a week after releasing iOS 8, Apple pushed out iOS 8.0.1, but the update didn’t fix problems but caused more. iPhone users reported issues with cell signal and Apple’s Touch ID, and as a result, the company pulled the download. The update was important for Apple, but this mess up is a messy blemish on the Apple’s face.

According to Apple’s release notes, the update included a fix for a HealthKit bug, which unexpectedly delayed the launch of HealthKit-compatible apps and a number of other “bug fixes.”

Apple did pull update for iPhone’s, however we expect Apple to release 8.0.2 in the coming days in order to fix the issues that the update caused. Also Apple wants to fix their new app, HealthKit, so developers can start using the app with their apps.

Tell us in the comments below what you think about this failed update and how it makes Apple look.
